Artist's Comments

Taken early yesterday morning, as the sun rose up from the earth the mist lifted from the lake. I was fortunate enough to capture some of this act through the use of slower shutter speed.
To achieve the effect I was looking for, I took 2 separate exposures; one slightly under exposed and one slightly overexposed and pieced them together in Photoshop.

Location: Eighty Four, Pa

Setup:
PSCS2
Watermark | Curves | Levels | Hardlight |
Tools:
30D | 10-20mm Lens | ND Filter | Polarizer |

Beautiful scenery and the mist is amazing. The editing is also very good, apart from the polarisation it looks completely natural but a bit more so if you understand... :/ Anyway nice shot
